Dental Centre Margraten
The Practice
Since 2005, Dental Centre Margraten is established in the beautifull municipality of Margraten. Our modern practice is located at the Koningswinkel. From our waiting room, there’s a lovely view of the hillside.
There’s sufficient parking space right outside the door. The practice is equipped with new treatment units and the latest equipment, like digital x-ray, intra-oral cameras and a microscope for oral treatment.

Completely Up-To-Date
Thijs and Paul have been working together since 2019. Because of the 35 year long expertise Paul has, and the innovative look Thijs has on dentistry, the two of them form a golden combination.
Paul finished his education at Nijmegen university in 1985 and started a practice in Germany practically right after that. He worked there for over 20 years and specialized in numerous areas of dentistry, including orthodontistry.
Paul started Tandheelkundig Centrum Margraten in 2005.
Thijs studied at Leuven Catholic University and graduated in 2012. For 8 years he worked in multiple practices and looked behind the scenes in bigger and smaller practices. During this time Thijs followed courses and started a study-group to keep evolving his knowledge and experience. He will continue to do so in the future to keep the practice up to date.
The essence of prevention
The assistents will help you during your treatment by explaining and answering questions if necessary. They are very skilled in executing their job.
The prevention assistent helps preventing inflammation to your gums by cleaning your teeth thoroughly and giving tips about how to do so yourself. Clean teeth and healthy eating habits are crucial to prevent dental caries.
When your gums inflame easily, small cavities can arise between the toot hand your gums. These cavities are called pockets when they reach a depth of 3 milimeter or more. For you they are very hard to clean and they need extra attention to prevent further inflammation.
For this reason Machteld has specialized to paro-prevention assistent and together with you she can clean pockets up to 7 millimeter.
